PBW11: An early Christmas present

Weekends before a big exam are always spent at home, that is our rule. As a mom, I try not schedule any activity during these weekends so the kids can concentrate on reviewing their lessons. Although it is a long weekend, a road trip would have been fitting but I am not complaining. I also want this much needed rest to regain my strength and to prepare myself for a very busy month.
In the photo below, my son is doing a mock up exam I have prepared. LOL! The poor guy woke up very early last Saturday to finish his Kumon and do one of the mock up tests.
Weekend was not as dull as it seems, it was actually an exciting one for me. Hubs and I went out to buy his early Christmas gift for me…. my new TOY!
Now, I just finished transferring my files to my backup hard drive and enjoying my new toy. Super duper thanks to my Hubs! Mwah!

You remind me of my Mom. I too used to wake up early on weekends when I was a kid whenever there’s a big exam coming up. My Mom did mock tests too.

Naku, I need to get used to doing mock tests na rin my son is only four pero I can’t believe how hard their lessons are already and we’re only at the beginning of his school journey. sa katulad nating mommies pala we have to go through school twice or even more depending on the number of kids we have.

nice toy, anyway my daughter just joined the kumon, math ang pinakuha ko sa kanya, maybe if kaya pa ng budget i would follow the reading pero lets see maganda ba talaga doon? mine is up na nga pala for the pbweekend

ganda naman ng christmas gift na yan. wa-epek kay hubby ang paglalambing ko e hehe
my son is also in kumon…tambak ang worksheets namin di kame nakagawa nung weekend. bait naman ng anak mo aga gumising to review…on aweekend.
