How much better to celebrate a family day together with memories than to go trick and treating!

It's a good day to visit our love ones, So sad that i was not able to visit my father on that day but i know he's in a better place now. Are you related to Sen. Trillanes?

The family name Trillanes sounds very familiar to me. Anyhow, that is what I really do missed yung pagpunta sa mga cemetery lalo na pag Nov 1 and Nov 2, yun kasi ang time din na parang reunion nang mga relative magkita2x mga friends. Thanks for dropping by I do appreciate it.

Hi!
Thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog about my PH-post for Military/Veterans about my father.
You have also written an appropriate and touching post about your father-in-law. I like that your family gathers to remember the departed and to be together. Toward the end of his life, my father knew that time was running out and he was concerned that my children would not remember him, since they were so very young. I promised him that I would talk about him and make sure that even if they had unclear direct memories of him, that I would talk about him and give them something to remember about him. He was a kind and soft-spoken man. I find it hard to see him in a war zone, but he did indeed spend five years of active duty in the US army during WWII. Mother asked his if he ever used his service pistol to kill anyone (What a question!?) I think he told the truth when he said that the only living creature that he shot at using his service weapon were the rats at the docks in Antwerp when he an other soldiers waiting for a vessel to be transported home. They took turns watching out for these huge rats so that no one would be bitten in their sleep.
Best wishes

The celebration of family -- living and dead -- is so important. Thank you for sharing.

My photohunt is a bit unusual.
