PBW23: Dart Tag Party

Boys are so into the toy called NERF nowadays. It’s basically a gun for kids with darts as bullets. Initially, I am so against buying toy guns for my boy, but seeing how safe it is to play plus his close friends all have it. It’s the mother’s soft heart that made me agree to buy this toy for his birthday.
But one cannot enjoy this alone, you need to play it with friends. Fortunately, his classmate decided to have a “Dart Tag Party”. The kids were so excited to attend. It was an intimate party held at their residence.
It was one of those moments that you get to see the boys sweat and play, which I believe is good for their generation. Since most of them can stay in front of the computer, TV or console game the whole day, this kind of play is a refreshing change. Reminds me of how filthy we get every time we play outside when we were kids.
Well, of course did have their own kind of enjoyment while the kids are at play. 
It was already night time when the kids decided to rest for awhile but still play 
.

We almost had similar NERF weekends, Mommy. I also don’t like guns but husband says its blaster(?) My boys own a Nerf gun each. We even bought spare darts. Is that Kuya’s blaster? If yes, same model sila.

Hi Sassy Mom, thanks for the invitation to join PBW. I did a post today, I’m not sure about Mr Linky though; can’t see it or it it just me and my connection.
I have the same sentiments about toy guns, swords, but my 5-year old and his Dad seem to have the same “pangungutak” on such stuff. Sometimes the Dad plays more than his son. The whole thing sometimes overwhelms me. But well…
Your birthday boy looks happy with his new toys. When our men are happy, we’re happy too and I guess their happiness does matter to us, so party on!
