PBW37: Wine not?

Saturday night and I got a spur of the moment invite from my sister to chill out and have wine. It’s a weekend and I said wine not? After a week of work, my sister needed a break. I decided to tag along my daughter so she can enjoy the last weekend before school.
We headed out to Greenbelt and chose Barcino Wine Tapas Bar. We were four girls having a relaxing drink as we chatted the night away.
It was a lovely evening for a night out. Summer is almost over and the rains poured that day making the night not as humid, perfect for al fresco dining. Barcino offers excellent quality wines at very affordable prices. The place has a laid back ambiance and the bartenders are customer oriented, which is always a plus factor for me.
Wine drinking is a learning process. Once your palette is used to good wines, you’ll never go back and will always look for a better one. Most moms would probably freak out at the thought that I brought my daughter along to have a taste of good wine. For me, I’d rather that she learns these things from me than sneaking out to have a good time with friends. At least, I can give her a taste and at the same time teaching her a taste of fine dining.

Barcino also serves scrumptious appetizers. That night we had Alcachofas con Hamon, Croquetas Pollo y Hamon and Gambas. These food are best paired with their wide selection of wines.

Girls just want to have fun! If I were your daughter, I would appreciate the time you spend to let her experience these things…and I’m sure she does. Have a wonderful week ahead!

Ganda talaga ng daughter mo sis. I agree with you, I think its a great idea to you introduce her to wine at least she knows that having wine once in a while is not bad.
