Semestral break is over for my children and they are back to school. I made sure that they have accomplished everything at the start of their vacation so they can enjoy the rest of the week.

Hubs also made it a point to spend some bonding time with the kids by letting them join him at the driving range. The heavy downpour did not stop the gang from having a great time.

It was my kid’s first time so they got a little coaching from their Papa.

“Focus on the ball.” That is one very important technique you should learn when you are playing golf.

The kids got hungry after that strenuous activity. Seeing them so happy together is just truly priceless.

I hope everyone had loads of fun this weekend.

It was the celebration of my li’l man’s birthday this weekend. Nothing grand, we just watched a movie of his choice and ate out after. One thing we have made our kids understand is that they cannot have a party every time they celebrate their birthdays. I believe it’s better like that so they do not get frustrated.

We watched Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief together with their friend – who is like part of the family.

The kids enjoyed their usual movie house snack — popcorn, and my boy’s fave — nachos!

After the movies, we decided to have a late dinner.

Happy Birthday to my dearest boy! May the Lord continue to guard and protect all the days of your lives! I love you, my dear son!

If last week was an unusually relaxing one, this weekend was the exact opposite. It is the start of a hectic schedule for me. We ventured into another business and hopefully this one would work out well. However, this Sunday, I bought the whole family with me and made sure to go home early to relax and bond with the kids.

I just enjoy looking at them having loads of fun together, even if sometimes it annoys me especially when they get physical with each other. I just have to accept that kids are naturally playful. My teenage daughter, who has her moods nowadays was unusually kind to his brother — they usually get into each other’s nerves But this time I was able to document their playfulness and I had fun!

And of course, this is me jumping in to join the fun.
