Hubs also made it a point to spend some bonding time with the kids by letting them join him at the driving range. The heavy downpour did not stop the gang from having a great time.

It was my kid’s first time so they got a little coaching from their Papa.

The kids got hungry after that strenuous activity. Seeing them so happy together is just truly priceless.

I hope everyone had loads of fun this weekend.

We watched Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief together with their friend – who is like part of the family.

The kids enjoyed their usual movie house snack — popcorn, and my boy’s fave — nachos!

After the movies, we decided to have a late dinner.

I just enjoy looking at them having loads of fun together, even if sometimes it annoys me especially when they get physical with each other. I just have to accept that kids are naturally playful. My teenage daughter, who has her moods nowadays was unusually kind to his brother — they usually get into each other’s nerves But this time I was able to document their playfulness and I had fun!

And of course, this is me jumping in to join the fun.
