A baby is a gift from heaven that’s why we always celebrate the coming of a new life. This weekend my friends from my son’s school decided to throw a baby shower for one of our “girl friends”.

I always love cutie baby stuff. Look at how cute the cupcakes, the cookies and the cake.

A closer look at the cake. The cake doesn’t just look good but it tastes good too. The icing isn’t that sweet and it’s not hard too. Yumm!

The blooming mom! I pray that you have a safe delivery and may the good Lord grant both of you health and happiness.

Stay safe y’all especially for my friends here in Pinas, the threat of typhoon Juan is still up.

We spent Earth Hour at our friends house. It was a welcome change from the usual stay at home since the kids get to enjoy the company of other kids and enjoy global action to change. It was like camping under the moonlight. Here are the kids enjoying the food as they await the lights off.

They played with glow sticks and ate all night long. It was truly an enjoyable night with close friends as we do it for a worthy cause.

Sunday was the day we celebrated my Mom’s birthday by checking in one of the nearby hotels. The kids had a blast as they go in for a dip in the pool with my sister.

We ended the night by having dinner at Arya Persian Restaurant.

To the greatest woman in my life… Happy, Happy Birthday! I LOVE YOU!

There will come a point in your life that you’ll long to see you old friends and just hang out. I know… cause despite the traffic this Sunday night, I braved it just to see my high school friends. It was a good feeling having to update yourself with what’s going on with your life and share a good laugh. How nice can that be?

And of course, who can resist these tempting food? such as the sizzling gambas……

And the very tempting chicharon…. which I am not very fond of…
