Pixel Bug

One of the things that are keeping me busy as a bee the past few weeks, is the preparation my son’s family day in school. Being a parent representative for their section, there were lots of tasks to prepare for Saturday’s big event.

Family days are conducted to promote unity amongst each member of the family and the school through presentations and other fun activities in an atmosphere of Goodwill and Camaraderie.There were celebrity guests, magician, and a variety of performance showcasing the talents from the students. Of course, a family day will not be complete without games. In which, I together with a co-parent hosted.

Whew! That’s the highlight of our weekend. I hope you and your family had a fabulous as well.

Friday was dedicated to my enrollment time for both my kids. I’m actually a little bit late than what the school has scheduled, which I prefer because during late enrollment there’s no long cue of lines for both the finance and the bookstore. Yehey! They’re both enrolled… now I’m broke! But that’s life.

Next thing to do would be to tag their books and cover them in plastic and that’s still my job, whew! Here’s my lil boy’s books….

Even though the Holidays are over, it didn’t stop me and fellow mom bloggers to have a get together. We have tried to make this happen during the holidays but with too much gatherings going on during the Christmas season, there is always a conflict. That’s why we ended up doing it after the holidays.

It was a fun Friday night! We brought our own share of food and did the usual exchange of gifts.

Saturday was also a time of get together with my co-parents from my son’s school as we participated in their family day. It was fun to meet all the moms and dads and catch up with each other as we watch our boys take part in the program and games.
